Lip Blush Tattoo (micropigmentation of the lips) is a safe, non-invasive
semi-permanent cosmetic tattoo procedure that uses color to create the effect
of fuller more plump and defined lips that look natural, as if you were born that way.
Much the same way makeup artists use makeup
or surgeons use fillers and surgery to create a more desired look
we use color artistry, only in a semi-permanent cosmetic tattoo form, to give you
beautiful lips that look natural without requiring daily makeup application, fillers or surgery
The healing time for a lip blush tattoo is around 5 to 10 days
during which certain activities such as saunas, hot tubs, working out or sun exposure
should be avoided to achieve optimal healing results.
The color will vary throughout the healing process before the final color is achieved.
What happens during
the lip blush tattoo
procedure?
Lip blush tattoo is a form of semi-permanent cosmetic tattoo on the lips
that is involves a sterile one-time-use needle used to implant pigment into the outermost layer of lips to improve the natural tint and shape of the lips with color artistry.
It is designed to define and enhance your lips, often achieving the illusion that they appear fuller,
even though the actual shape of your lips remains unchanged.
A lip blush tattoo session takes 2-3 hours during which we will:
do a personal interview to determine your desired results
pre-draw shape / discuss options
choose your custom color selection using color theory
apply topical anesthetics to keep you comfortable
provide you with comprehensive after care instructions
BEFORE
your lip blush appointment
DO:

Bring pictures/lipsticks in order to show the color that you want.
If you are prone to cold sores:
you will need to take a preventive medication 3 days prior to (and continue for 3 days after) the appointment.
DON'T:
Consume alcohol, caffeine, fish oil, Vitamin E, aspirin and ibuprofen
as these can cause the blood to thin and will result in more bleeding during the procedure.
AFTER
your lip blush appointment
DO:
Use a lot of lip balm to keep your lips moisturized.
Plan on a follow up appointment.
DON'T:
Pick your scabs. Ever!
Also, avoid sun exposure and workouts for around 2 weeks.
Do not eat spicy food in the 48 hours following the session.
Included with the procedure is one free touch-up that is done 4-6 weeks later.
Touch-ups after 6 weeks are $500.00 as long as your tattoo is still visible.
If your tattoo is almost completely faded full price applies.
**Touch-up appointment is only applicable to work done by us at Microblading Studio City**
We DO NOT do touch-ups for other artists work
CANCELLATIONS
We ask that you please reschedule/cancel at least 1 week before the beginning of your appointment
or you may be charged a cancellation fee of 50% of the cost of your service/full service price
if canceled after 24 hours.

If you deliberately violate terms and conditions, including our aftercare suggestions, we will be excluded from liability and we have the right to cancel any complimentary treatment in the future.
